Fees for QuickBooks Online Bookkeeping Services

The monthly fees below are based on (a) books kept with QuickBooks online, and (b) average monthly expenses for a 3 month period. We automatically adjust fees as your business grows. Since every business is unique, you may need additional services. If so, we will work with you to tailor services to your needs.

Initial Cleanup and Reconciliation Includes

  • Bringing past income statement and balance sheet up-to-date (Financials must be current within 3 months of the cleanup date.)
  • If financials are not up-to-date within 3 months, we will review the situation and suggest the best way to bring the books up-to-date.
  • Personalized setup in QuickBooks online with a bookkeeper or accountant, if needed
  • Updating the Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
  • Discussion, where appropriate, of the classification of transactions (what accounts transactions should be placed in).
  • Discussion, where needed, of the best practices for using QuickBooks.
  • The services provided during the first month are as follows, as applicable:
    • update bookkeeping based on information you provide;
    • connect bank and credit cards;
    • categorize and update transactions up until the last tax-filing date;
    • reconcile bank and credit card accounts with past statements, as provided by you;
    • reconcile remaining balance sheet accounts;
    • Run a summary reports: balance sheet, and income statement YTD for cleanup period(s).

  • During monthly bookkeeping services, the following services may be provided, as needed:
    • Assistance with the main features of QuickBooks Online
    • Setup of customers and vendors, if needed
    • assistance with reports and reporting tools
    • setup of chart of accounts
    • assistance with bank connections, expense type classification, categorization, and reconciliation based on information you provide
    • importing of historical data
    • ongoing assistance with bookkeeping practices
  • DGG will provide help based on the information you provide.

Items You Will Be Responsible For

  • sending invoices, paying bills, or management of inventory, accounts receivable, or accounts payable.
  • managing your business and providing information to your bookkeeper when they need it. Examples of information you’re responsible for providing include account information to connect bank accounts to QuickBooks Online, information about any unlinked banked accounts that need to be managed, transaction detail when requested, financial records (i.e. account statements), and descriptions of any established capitalization or accounting policies for the business.

Other Notes

  • Ongoing Bookkeeping does not include compliance (tax) services or assistance with tax preparation, or assurance services (compilation, review, or audit). We can provide these services at an additional cost.
  • The Live Bookkeeping Cleanup service is from the date of your last business tax return through the end of the calendar month before first sign-up to Live Bookkeeping.
